Come 2009, Google's Android will appear in all major cell phone. This vision was launched on November 5, 2008, but will come into use next year. Google will release Android platform available under the Apache free software and open source licenses. That means a truly free to use.

What is Google Android?

No, no Android phones that most people think. But the operating system and software platform for mobile devices. This will be based on the Linux operating system. Developers can write applications using Java Programing language. This will be the development of mobile and Android with Google Open Alliance.

In simple terms, it would be like Symbian and Windows operating systems are available on mobile phones.

Google Android

1. Android will support all media formats for video size, songs and pictures. Such as MPEG-4, H.264, MP3, AAC, AMR, JPEG, PNG, GIF.

2. Web Source - It will support all current providers cellular phone network is GSM / Edge, CDMA, EV-DO, MTS. Also features Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.

3. Unlimited and various applications - Since its a Freeware software, anyone can create applications using java programming language and share with others. This is fine and will be a key selling point of Google's Android.

4. Features message - supports image Original SMS, MMS and new XMPP (one contact with another person without programs like Skype or Yahoo Messenger)

5. Google Android will offer enhanced services using GPS combined with Google maps. Very helpful in finding a way.

6. Display - platform will adapt to all mobile phone screen layout. Has provided color screen and GPRS is activated.
