Quarter of households will have broadband by 2012

Figures produced last year showed that there are 323 million homes have broadband, this 18 per cent of the total number of households. Prediction is that the numbers will increase to 499 million in 2012. This shows how much popular networks have been, and how not to show signs of reduction below.
Currently in the UK, there are 58 percent of people with broadband Internet, and this is likely to increase 74 percent in the next four years. If this happens, Britain will be 9 in the list of connected nations in the world.
Research has predicted that before the runner now most wired countries, the Netherlands, Canada, Hong Kong, Switzerland and South Korea, which is the only country that more than 60 percent of the infiltration of broadband, will continue to hold their positions in the future .
After the data and compare broadband Gartner figures, they released the results of their research and recently said that they expect to increase broadband penetration in key geographic markets. This is because this area has a high level of broadband, because they are the most broadband services and is likely to continue. The reason is probably because these areas tend to be more interested in new applications and content on the Internet.
